A bad day for the Gopro

Lessons were learned... The safety tether did its job but the suction mount on the slightly curved nose of the Sky Arrow (aka Lawn Dart) failed after about 30 minutes of flying. The suction mounts are amazing on perfectly flat surfaces and has worked well on the wing. Always have a safety tether on your remote camera (but maybe not near the landing gear next time and keep it short) The housing suffered some runway rash but the camera still works and the pilot was only mildly humiliated and greatly educated by the experience.
